Crisp pot still spices with ripe, fresh fruit notes of melon, kiwi and lime. The American oak contributes a range of elements, from earthy woodland notes to freshly charred timber while vanilla and roasted coffee bean aromas weave in amongst the sweet cereal notes and delicate perfumed undertones of this complex yet balanced whiskey.
Luscious and beautifully rounded with rich coffee and sweet vanilla to the fore while the spices begin to slowly build along with waves of sweet pear and orange zest. Touches of clove and cinnamon showcase the wood spices, giving balance to the sweetness.
Remarkably long finish with the soft sweet spices finally giving way to the charred oak.
