About Midleton Very Rare Barry Crockett Legacy

Midleton added its first permanent Midleton Very Rare Barry Crockett Legacy single pot still Irish Whiskey to its range in 2011.

Named after Barry Crockett, a second-generation master distiller, Midleton Very Rare Barry Crockett Legacy represents a selection of pot still whiskeys matured in American bourbon barrels, with a small contribution from a pot still distillate matured in an unseasoned American barrel.

Midleton Very Rare Barry Crockett Legacy is the pinnacle of single pot still Irish whiskey. Crafted at Midleton Very Rare Distillery in Co. Cork, made from malted and unmalted barley and triple-distilled in copper pot stills, this whiskey embodies the quintessential Irish style. It offers a rich, complex flavor with a smooth texture, balancing traditional pot still depth with a refined, elegant finish.
