A once in a lifetime tasting

Though long since silent, the legendary Old Midleton Distillery can still surprise and delight. For it was here, in some quiet corner undisturbed by the march of time, that a whiskey lay waiting to be reborn. Revived from a bygone era and crafted from a marriage of whiskeys left to mature over 47 years in hand-selected bourbon casks and sherry butts, this coming together delivers a wonderfully aged yet contemporary expression of an Irish whiskey like no other – Midleton Very Rare Silent Distillery Chapter 3.

On November 29th, our partners in the world-renowned Adare Manor, are offering a once in a lifetime opportunity to taste the third chapter of Ireland’s oldest and rarest whiskey collection.

As part of the evening, guests will enjoy a five-course dinner in Adare’s sumptuous Gallery, then Midleton Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman will lead attendees through the most exclusive Irish whiskey tasting ever held. After the guided tasting, guests will be invited to conclude the evening in the cosy Tack Room. This is truly a once in a lifetime experience.
